"High School Musical 3" hasn’t even hit the big screen in most countries, yet it is already breaking records. In the UK, HSM3 has received the largest number of advance bookings for a movie in cinema history. It has beaten big name movies such as "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", "Lord of the Rings" and the Bond films. With 3 weeks to go before the movie even lands in theaters there, some showings have already sold out! Rupert Gavin, CEO of Odeon & UCI Cinema Group says: "This is a phenomenal and record breaking start for High School Musical 3. Our cinemas have been inundated with calls to pre-book tickets for what could be the year’s biggest kids and teen audience movie. With schools breaking up for half term just as High School Musical 3 opens, we at Odeon are bracing ourselves for a huge first week run."
