According to the March 2009 issue of M magazine, Zac doesn't regret anything.

“I’ve been in a lot of the same positions that Troy’s been in, and have made tough decisions, too. For Troy, he has to choose between basketball and singing, but for me, it was figuring out my future. I was getting good grades in school and thinking about going to college. But I’d been involved with acting for years, so I finally decided to go down that path. I don’t regret anything though. I enjoyed being in school, but I really love the feeling I get from acting/ I’m hooked.” Zac says.
